We will provide the leadership, resources and management to ensure law enforcement agencies have the means to partner with our educators, community leaders, and families by providing proven and effective programs to deter youth and adults from drug use, drug related crimes, bullying and violence. We are committed to reinforcing the mutual respect, goodwill and relations between law enforcement and their communities.

DATER PARTNERS WITH RAMSEY POLICE
Dater School and Dater School PTO partner with the Ramsey Police Department to bring LEAD to our schools beginning with our 5th Grade students. Our mission is to provide our children with the life skills needed to live a happy, healthy and drug free lifestyle.
Our program includes a Parent Night, student education and lots of fun events throughout the year. In November, our LEAD Parent Night provides parents the opportunity to learn about the program, meet the parents and coordinators, meet our Dater LEAD Police Officer and learn about current drug trends. In January, LEAD instruction begins for the 5th grade students. The Dater LEAD Police Officer comes in once per week to provide education to our students. In addition, several fun events are coordinated for the students. In prior years the events have included: LEADs Got Talent, snow tubing, Excite Games, and a LEAD Pool Party/Graduation. This is an amazing program that our children are lucky to be a part of.

Snow Tubing at Campgaw - Thursday, February 6, 4-6pm
5th grade students only; no siblings or outside friends.
NOTE: This IS a drop off event. Parents are encouraged to volunteer if they wish to stay.
Harlem Wizards Basketball game - Friday, March 7, Ramsey High School
The famous funtastic basketball team comes to play against our teachers & parents!
L.E.A.D. Talent Show - Auditions Wednesday, April 23, 4-7pm, Dater School
Talent Show performance - Saturday, May 17, 7pm, Dater School
*Volunteers will be needed! Look for more info as event date approaches.*
NOTE: volunteers, performers, and teachers will NOT need to purchase tickets.
L.E.A.D. Graduation Pool Party - Wednesday, June 4, 4-6pm (rain date Wed. 6/11)
A fun celebration for all 5th graders with music, games, and pizza!
